Mission

WiTiKee has the mission of developing sustainable innovative technologies and solutions. WiTiKee is the response to:

• the need of fast tranfer of knowledge gained through the experience in industry and academia by its team members
• the goal of developing and marketing innovative products
• the increasing demand for engineering services, from product conceivement to development
• the desire of realizing visionary sustainable landascapes and enabling technologies in the smart grid, smart home, and mobility markets
• the ability to collaborate in national and international research projects

Company

WiTiKee is located in Udine, Italy, and it was founded as a spinoff of the University of Udine. It has a team of talented and experienced engineers. The president and CEO of WiTiKee is prof. Andrea Tonello.

Andrea Tonello, PhD, President and CEO of WiTiKee

Dr. Tonello has more than 15 years R&D experience in electrocnics and telecommunications. He is a former Technical Manager of the Lucent - Bell Labs Advanced Wireless Technology Laboratory, Whippany, NJ, and the Managing Director of Bell Labs, Italy. In this role, he conducted research on wireless systems and he was involved in standardization activities for the evolution of 2G and 3G celluar technology. He received the Doctor of Enginering degree in electronics and the PhD in telecommunication engineering from the University of Padova.
